Local charity Sight Support Derbyshire are giving people the last chance to jump out of planes in 2011.
Sight Support Derbyshire skydives take place at Langar Airfield and are run by the British Parachute School who have been a professional sky diving school since 1977.
Oviso, a local company who do a tremendous amount of work for Sight Support Derbyshire are taking part and Clare Fullaway from Oviso says ‘I have always wanted to do a skydive, but wanted to do it fora local cause. I am feeling really nervous about it, and excited at the same time. Jumping out of a plane is easy compared to the challenges that many visually impaired people overcome on a daily basis. I am really pleased to be raising money for Sight Support Derbyshire’.
Willing participants will need to raise £400 to experience jumping, in tandem, from a small plane to the ground at freefall speed. Full training will be provided and a certificate will be provided on completion of the jump.
