Ex-Rams duo to be guests of honour at boxing night
Former Rams players Colin Todd and Michael Johnson will be guests of honour at a charity whilte collar boxing event at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday.
The show will feature ten bouts and is being held to raise funds for Sight Support Derbyshire.
Derby County legend Todd won two league titles during his time at the Baseball Ground between 1971 and 1976 and briefly managed the club in 2001.
Former Rams captain Michael Johnson played for the club between 2003 and 2008 and was in the side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2006-07.
TV funny man Charlie Hale will be the compere for the evening, organised by former professional boxer Clive Fearon, who runs the One Nation Health Studio in Derby.
Derby Telegraph business correspondent Oliver Astley will be among the boxers on Saturday.
Tickets for the four-course meal, boxing, charity auction and after-show party are priced at £50. Tables of ten are available at £450 and tickets for the fights only are priced at £25 per person.
