Frances Alfrey celebrating her 100th Birthday pictured here with Sight Support Derbyshire's Helen Rowley.
Frances Alfrey, one of Sight Support Derbyshire’s longest serving members, will celebrate her 100th birthday at the organisations social event this week. She will be joined by friends, volunteers and staff who have been involved with Frances over the years as part of her birthday lunch celebrations to be held at the organisations offices.
Frances has been attending the group for over 10 years and although she has little sight and needs a wheelchair she still lives in her own bungalow, and she attends the social and the outings. Frances is one of the most popular and energetic members of the group and only a few weeks ago she enjoyed a visit to a local pottery and painted two figurines for her family. Although Francis is quiet and unassuming, everyone at Sight Support Derbyshire would like to wish her the best birthday possible.
The Derby Social group will be celebrating her birthday at 1.00pm – 2.00pm on the 16th Dec at the Liversage Hall, Derby, DE1 3QS.
