Low Vision Assessments

Sight Support Derbyshire provides expert advice and support to enable you to make the most of your residual vision through our Low Vision Service.

Qualified assessors

A qualified assessor can meet with you – often in your own home – to discuss your particular needs, and provide the appropriate equipment to make your life easier.

Equipment

We can provide equipment such as magnifiers and lighting fixtures that will enable you to regain control of the things that matter most to you.

Support

We can support you around your home to read your own correspondence or to read a newspaper without straining your eyes. We can also help you with more specific needs including reading signs at railway stations or household tasks like sewing.
