Rams Charity Trophy

On Wednesday 28th September 2011 the first Super Rams Charity Trophy will take place at Morley Hayes, Morley in Derbyshire.

In an 18 hole Am:Am Stableford competition, a team of four Derby County Football Club first team stars will be taking part against opposing teams of golfers from all over the county.

Costing only £100 to enter per team of four, all monies raised will be used to support blind and partially sighted people in Derbyshire.

Martin Wilson who is a trustee and the captain of the Sight Support Derbyshire team said: "My team can't wait to show these footballers how golf is really played. We're expecting to thrash them and to take the Trophy back to our head office in Derby and put in pride of place.

"Derby County have been a great supporter of our work and this is a great opportunity for people to get involved, play some golf at a fantastic course and compete for the honour of being the very first winners of the Super Rams Charity Trophy."

If you would like to enter a team of four and play for the chance to win the first Super Rams Charity Trophy, then please contact us on 01332 287 027 or email fundraising@sightsupportderbyshire.org.uk
