Schools Fundraising Project

We are the largest supplier of services to people in Derby and Derbyshire. Our services include Home and telephone support, Sports and Leisure activities, Children’s and Young People’s services, Information days, Wireless for the Blind and Rehabilitation.

What we can do for you

• Hold an assembly targeted at different age group tailored to key stages 1, 2, 3 and 4
• Be present in school for a day a year linking with the citizenship and PHSE curriculum and educating pupils on eye health in a creative and fun way
• Give 10% of funds raised by the school to the parent fundraising body or directly back to your school
• We will provide certificates and thank you letters to the school and pupils for any money raised
• Provide information on eye health to all pupils and staff and supply simple advice on the simple steps everyone can take to protect their sight

                                                                                                                                                                   Fundraising is fun

• Hold a non uniform day in return for a small donation
• Learn through experience and ask your students to try some simply daily tasks with a blindfold such as writing or tying their shoe laces.
• We can support you and your students to raise money how they choose, their imagination is the only limit from sponsored events to bake sales and raffles.

                                                                                                                                                                      Making a difference locally

• We are a local charity representing Derby and Derbyshire
• You can choose where we spend the money you have raised e.g. supporting children directly or supporting the elderly in their home
• We will show you how the funds you have raised have been spent either face to face or through a letter
