Walk for Sight

Walk for Sight at Chatsworth House (Sunday 3rd July 2011)

Join the Walk for Sight in the beautiful grounds of Chatsworth House. The walks present an ideal opportunity to enjoy the stunning grounds of Chatsworth whilst raising funds for blind and visually impaired people in Derbyshire and Sheffield.

This year the event is supported by two charities, Sight Support Derbyshire and Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind. Everyone is welcome and the walks are ideal for all as there are 2 walks available this year:

1. A 3.5 mile walk – ideal for families
2. An 8 mile walk

After the walks you will be able to enjoy a well deserved cup of tea or coffee, a pork sandwich (vegetarian option available) and musical entertainment, all in the elegant surroundings of the Stables.  Sight Support Derbyshire Chief Executive Ges Roulstone adds ‘Raising funds for Sight Support Derbyshire by walking in such beautiful grounds of our patron the Duke of Devonshire will be a wonderful day out for the whole family. The money raised will go directly to people who are visually impaired and will make a real difference to them’.

Tickets are limited and are available through Sight Support Derbyshire. Any sponsorship is welcomed  by Sight Support Derbyshire.

Free parking is available in the Chatsworth house car park and there is an optional reduced rate entry for Chatsworth garden available prior to the walk for participants.
