Most of us will live to a ripe old age and have many active years of retirement. But many of us will rely on support to be independent as we get older. Sight Support Derbyshire provides a range of professional services to thousands of blind and partially sighted people throughout the country to be independent. But there are thousands more who need help.
But Sight Support Derbyshire need help and you can help by making a regular donation which will make a real difference to people in their homes and at hospitals.
Jamie Ward from Derby County has signed up for the monthly direct debit scheme and says’ I'm delighted to be supporting a fantastic local cause that helps so many people in Derby and Derbyshire to be independent. Join me by making a regular donation to Sight Support Derbyshire today."
A £2 per month donation will provide one hour of support through our dedicated Hospital Services. Delivered by trained and dedicated volunteers, the service provides immediate support and advice for people who have been diagnosed with sight loss when they need it most.
A £5 per month donation will provide one hour of support from our Home Support Service to visit blind people in their own homes and provide expert advice and professional equipment to enable them to live their lives with independence.
A £10 per month donation will pay for a volunteer to support our Children’s service to provide relief to parents and give a young person and opportunity to learn and play in a safe, supportive environment with their peers.
As you can see even a small regular contribution can make a dramatic difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people locally.
